Here at London Film and Comic Con 2019 we have managed to bag Charles Dance, one of the most prolific actors of our time. Charles, also a director and screenwriter, has played some high profile characters over the years, his most recent being the infamous Tywin Lannister in Game of Thrones.
Known for playing some brilliant and sinister parts, Charles brought the head of the Lannister family to life, and proceeded to creep out pretty much everyone who’s seen Game of Thrones with his portrayal of cold-hearted and cruel Tywin.
From his humble beginnings in Father Brown (1974), Charles rose up through film and television history, taking on meaty roles like Guy Perron in 1984 British tv mini-series The Jewel in the Crown, Clemens in Alien 3 (1992), and the fabulously creepy Master Vampire in Dracula Untold (2014).
Charles has appeared in several British TV staples, such as Tales of the Unexpected (1987), Randal and Hopkirk (Deceased) (2000) and Agatha Christie’s Marple (2006).
Since his departure from Game of Thrones in 2015, Charles has been very busy. From Viktor Frankenstein (2015) to Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (2016) and the much anticipated reboot of Ghostbusters (2016), he has worked his acting magic on some great roles.
Charles will be here at London film and Comic Con for Saturday 27th July 2019 only.
Grab yourself a photo and an autograph for the bargain price of £25 each, meet Tywin Lannister himself, and maybe even live to tell the tale.
