Mark Ballabon is a philosopher, environmentalist and author who has been teaching and writing about personal and spiritual development for over two decades. He is the author of several non-fiction books, including ‘Why is The Human on Earth?’ and ‘Courting the Future: Preparing for a Different World’, which features a collection of essays on the climate crisis.

During the past four years Mark has been working on a fiction trilogy for YA readers. The first in the series, Home: My Life in the Universe is out now.

Beautifully illustrated by Grant MacDonald, Home follows 14-year-old Leah on her journey of self-discovery. Described by one reviewer as a book that, “should be given to all teens to help them on their journey through life”, Home encourages self-reflection and new ways of approach to contemporary issues including bullying, self-confidence and the climate crisis.
