The Cartoon Museum is the UK’s only Museum dedicated to the art of cartoons, comics and their creators. They collect, conserve and provide access to Britain’s cartoon, caricature, comic art and animation heritage, and they do this through their extensive exhibition programme, events, schools and family workshops, and outreach work. They house over 300 years of comic and cartoon art whilst also supporting new comic and cartoon art and artists. They believe everyone should enjoy picking up a pencil to draw and They’re one of the few galleries where you can regularly hear the visitors laugh out loud! The Museum is now based in central London just a short walk away from Oxford Circus and is an independent charity.
