Sally Jane Hurst is a comics colour artist and writer whose credits include Monster Fun, Greysuit, 2000 AD and Judge Dredd Megazine. She featured in the Forty-Five graphic novel (Com-X), and wrote a Tharg’s Future Shock: Cloud Nine in 2000 AD prog 1943. Other colouring credits include: Jacked (Vertigo), Before Watchmen (DC Comics), Razorjack (Titan), Eden (Dark Horse Presents #23), and many more.
She is an illustrator, singer and model maker. When not in the studio she can be found on the beach, creating her ephemeral “Shoreline Sally” mini-sculptures and drawing daily cartoon characters in the sand, or on stage singing with one of her regular bands, Pegasus4 (Jazz) and Eclectic Dreams (7-piece ’80s Tribute), or singing for Big Bands and Grand Hotel dance bands. She loves sharks.
