Mike Carey has been writing comics since the early 90s, getting his start on the tragically short-lived Toxic! anthology book.
Gigs at indie publishers Malibu and Caliber led to his lengthy runs on both DC Vertigo’s Lucifer and Hellblazer titles. He has also worked for Marvel, most notably on X-Men Legacy and Ultimate Fantastic Four.
His most recent work includes Highest House from IDW and The Dollhouse Family from DC’s Hill House imprint. A miniseries from Bad Idea will be announced later this year.
He also writes prose fiction, including the Felix Castor series, the Rampart trilogy and Infinity Gate, and penned the screenplay for the movie adaptation of his bestselling novel The Girl With All the Gifts.
