Legendary Editor Shelly Bond has been throwing red ink at veteran and up-and-coming comic book writers and artists for over three decades including 22 years at Vertigo/DC Comics working with Neil Gaiman on The Sandman, Grant Morrison on The Invisibles, and Mark Buckingham on Fables, among others.
Currently, she edits the multiple EIsner Award-winner Bitter Root, and teaches Comics Editing at Portland State University.
Bond created Filth & Grammar: The Comic Book Editor’s (Secret) Handbook, which Neil Gaiman says is “Essential for everyone in the comics business, and everyone who hopes to be in the comics business.”
Shelly runs Off Register Press with her husband, British artist Philip Bond.
